Sunday night worship at Lebanon Church is upbeat, energetic, and invigorating while at the same time being contemplative. The environment is one were you can be released from the stress and distractions of your life. The lighting is dim, and the videos that are displayed on the projector screens are immersive. The contemporary Christian music performed by our praise band is uplifting, and you may respond to this however you feel comfortable - by singing, clapping, dancing, raising your hands, or by simply meditating to the lyrics and sounds that you are hearing. The idea is to create an environment where you can reflect and focus on God. The sermon from our pastors are thoughtful, nurturing, and relevant to your life. The service is personal but also takes on a sense of community. Between songs we take time to fellowship with each other. We also have an opportunity to publicly state both the joys and the struggles in our lives so that we can join together in prayer in lifting them up to God the Father. Once a month, we take part in the Lord's supper, Communion. After the service is over, free snacks are available in the lobby where you can meet and mingle. This is truly a service for EVERYONE. We have singles, couples, and families. We have children and infants, but we also have senior aged folks and everyone in between. We have committed followers of Christ, and we have those who just aren't sure yet. The atmosphere is inviting and has a "come as you are" feel to it. The attire is casual with t-shirts and jeans (or shorts) being the norm. You don't need to dress up, but if you do, that's ok with us. We want you to be comfortable while at the same time having the opportunity to experience what we do every Sunday evening. Our doors are open. Would you like to come and join us? |
